I HATE summer reading! I mean we had to spend idk how many days in school to read and stuff. Why cant we just have a summer without Reading or anything related to school. :]

I love summer reading when it's not good for being outside or if the book is non-educational. [mysteries, fantasies, fiction]

I love reading... but not in the summer... I have to read "The Lightning Theif" for english class and take notes on it... and then i also have to read another book from this list... I haven't started yet....... I LOVE READING but not when i don't feel like it...

i enjoy reading .. currently am reading this book called 'Mirror Image'' by Danielle Steel .
Besides i have to read to get more flexible in English , since it's not my mother tongue as most of u may know by now bounce

I don't mind reading for my own reasons. I'm a reader at heart and I couldn't live without books. But I don't like school reading assignments over the summer. }= I think what's the point? We'll just forget it all anyway. Rolling Eyes

The only thing I don't like is being forced to read something. At my elementary school, we had to read the books Frindle, Skeleton Man, The Voyage of the Frog, and Gifted Hands. I loved Skeleton Man, Frindle was ok I guess, I hated The Voyage of the Frog, and Gifted Hands got boring after awhile.

it's not just reading for me.

it's writing essays.

and they incorporate these books into the curriculum througout the year.

although i do like the books.
