It's a really cute game! You could consider it to be like maple story, but besides your character being taller (hah), the game is much easier to play!

You're not required to pay! Unless you want powerups/special fashion items.
by the way: all armor and fashion items are also available in-game (but are worth around 100-400k?)
If you want to buy special items, you need astros which can be purchased online or at seven-11 stores.
Anyway, making money is fairly easy--especially through quests.
tip: when fighting those adorable little prirings and finding round tails, people may pay big money for stacks* of them! So don't just sell them to the npc shops!
